.rmvb is a real media video format. To play it you’ll need real player or the appropriate plug-in for winamp. I’m not sure whether there’s a plug-in or codec to get windows media player to play it. Infact I’m doubtful. reply

Are you sure you have a K-lite MEGA codec pack? What you lack is the Real Alternative codec.

There are four versions of the K-Lite Codec Pack:

1. Standard contains everything you need to play all the most commonly used audio and video formats. This package should be enough for the average user.

2. Full..
3. Corporate Edition...
4. Mega is the same as the Full version PLUS Real Alternative.

I had the same problem as yours but I then installed the Mega version of K-lite and now RMVB files play without a hitch.

U can get the codecs with detailed info here: reply

That’s correct. You can just use Real Player to play rmvb files. reply

same prob reply

most people come here to SOLVE A PROBLEM, not to download another media player.
And more: I’m sure everyone here tried EVERY codec package. This is not the problem. reply

I had the same problem.
My solution is:
Uninstall newest version K-Lite_Codec_Pack_620_Standard.
Then install old version K-Lite_Codec_Pack - klmcodec505,g/klmcodec505.html
And problem with Audio: RealAudio COOK 44100Hz stereo will gone. reply

Tks Polish Bob.

I solve my prob using your solution!!! reply

Hey All ,

I’m using windows 7 & I had the very same problem that was solved by following instructions from “Media Player Classic FAQ Page”

Q: “Media Player Classic could not render some of the pins in the graph” errors
A: This usually means that there is a filter missing that is needed to decode one of the streams in the file.
The format above is RealAudio COOK. To install a decoder for this audio format you need to perform the following steps:
1.Download the Windows version of binary codec pack for MPlayer.
2.Extract these files from the .zip archive: cook.dll, pncrt.dll, sipr3260.dll, drv33260.dll, drv43260.dll
3.Put those files in this folder: C:\Windows reply
