Basicaly, If you DO have alcohol 120% wich i do, you make a few virtual DVD/CD drives, then you can EITHER go into my computer and right click on the virtual cd/dvd drive and click mount image and locate the file your self. OR you can do it through Alcohol120%. If it is a dvd you’ll need something like real player to play it. Soft ware, once mouted wil just do autoplay or just go into my computer and double click on the cd as you might do normally. PS2, or PSX games will be the same as DVD’s but insted of playing them using real player or an equivalent, then you DO need playstation emulators!:D hope this finishes it off!!!:D

I’m very confused! My friend called me said that he has a PS2 emulator that played off of a PS2 cd that he popped in his cd drive. I downloaded PCSX2 and when I try to load a cd, it says you need bios, it can’t run without that. What the heck does that mean? Shouldn’t it just play off of the cd? Please help, thanx in advance!

I want to burn 8 gb mdf file to 4.7 gb dvd

I just downloaded FF7(pc version) and have installed it on my computer. The first CD is .mdf and .mds and when i mount it on alcohol 120% it does nothing, and the same thing happens when i mount it on daemon tools. Is there something I need to do after i mount it? I click the .exe file and it just says that I need to insert disc 1.

Any help is appreciated.

and more from my above post... whenever i try to load the image file when it is mounted on daemon tools i get a message that asks what action windows should take with video files ( i dont understand it at all and none of the options work anyways)

I’ve recently gotten my hands on 2 MDF files.(with matching mds files)

I know the previous pages of this topic, probably, have the info I need but I can’t make much heads of tails out of it.

I’d like to ask if someone could either send me an email, or contact me on MSN or Yahoo messengers(Ravage_mk2@yahoo.com for all 3), AIM(RavageMK2) or ICQ(106381713) with DETAILED, preferably STEP BY STEP instructions for turning these 2 mdf things into iso or bin files.

The 2 mdf files in question are the Playstation 1 games Monster Rancher Battlecard II and SD Gundam G Generation.

If anyone is willing to do the actual conversion work, I’d be more then happy to transfer these games to them via the above mentioned chat programs(and/or email via the yousendit site)

i downloaded a game (yes illegal shame on me) because i cant buy it anywere (trust me i searced) the game is called close combat 3 i have it on mdf file about 690 mb now i prob have to burn it on cd any idea how and with what programm?

A file is causing me problems and I think it is called 'battle.fs' If someone who has this file can send it me then I would appreciate it. I get crashes in certain places and now I can’t get any further in the game. I think it is this file as it messes up during installation.

I have 2mb Broadband so I should download fast.

The .mdf/.mds image can also be written to a blank CD or DVD using DVD Decrypter.

OK... I mounted my game file (.iso) (GTA:SA) onto my virtual drive (H:) .. ok Now it’s there But when I try and run the install off there.. It says 'H:\Install.exe is not a valid Win32 application' I am not sure what this means. If I try to run the setup.exe I get the same error message.. If any one has a solution or can help with this problem it would be appreciated :) Thx

i just downloaded Sid Mier’s Pirates. i couldnt figure out what to do so i read ur posts. Metrolike said that u have to dl daemon tools and unzip the file and so on.
i did dl daemon tools but how do i unzip the mdf file?
and if any of u have any helpful tips, it would be greatly appreciated.

I have tried to do this but my computer wont read PS2 games, only PSX discs, My computer is a WINDOWS 98, maybe thats why it won`t read Ps2 games.

If thats why, does anybody know a download that makes the PC read PS2 games?
