ISO to DVD

Just downloaded a ISO extension file....size is 7.4 Gigs....it is a file for my vehicle navigation system as the present software in it has been corrupted. Will this file play in the vehicle navigation dvd player if I download in to a dvd????

i downloaded a game in iso format. the game is of 6GB. when i try to write with nero it replied that the DVD disk space not sufficient. how i can write 6GB iso file on 4.7GB disk?

when you are going to burn the iso use powerISO i did that

if you straightly burn ISO to DVD, the disc can’t be palyable on home dvd palyer, the machine can read the iso format
you need to use some software to do this

I have to say, free software exists more or less problem after long time use.
If you want to easy Copy a dvd movies to a playable dvd disc, you can use Aimersoft DVD Copy
Do not want to say any more, you can decide by yourslef.

For who those want to run DVD straight from .iso on the hard drive without having to burn and stuff... just download Magic ISO. Then you mount the ISO file in any driver. Open your favorite DVD player and select the driver you have mounted. That is it. You can now play you ISO file movie on your DVD player.

I tried NCH softwear to burn Iso Videos and it was great so tried to purchase the full version. My money was taken twice and I still do not have the softwear. If you try to e-mail it tells you if you have filled this in correctly we might reply. There is no phone number! The numbers listed for help line go to an message no one ever answers!

To burn the image of the disc.

Then, install it, and tell it that you want to burn image to disc.
4.35GB or below you’ll need a DVD5 or you CAN use a DVD9. Though with a DVD9 (DL), you’ll have a lot of room left as it’s 8.5GB in size.

For 8.5GB and above 4.35GB of data, you’ll be using a DVD9 (DL)..

As for mounting the image into a virtual drive on your PC without having to pay. Try Daemontools lite.

Your drive needs to be re formatted for NTFS. Its currently set to fat 32. Back up your drive and reformat it and set the file system to NTFS.

A DVD-RW was purchased today from one of those V8 race experiences - they were supposed to take an in-car video. When we have bought the DVD home it is recognised as a blank disc in every device (ranging from xbox360 to computer).

Long story short - no idea how - we managed to retrieve a .iso file from the disc. I can play it on the computer through a VLC player, but when it comes to burning the file, powerISO tells me that the file format is invalid or unsupported. Any ideas???

as far as i can tell real DVDs that u buy are the .vob file type, that is what u see if u try and burn them urself (tho they often have protection) so if ur looking for a file type that will always work, .vob is it (however they often have configuration files for all of the menus and stuff so things are broken up strangely)

I need to burn some ISO files to DVD and though they seem to work, most aren’t recognized in my DVD player.

SOLUTION TO BACKING UP DVD’s:

Download DVD Shrink...google it...easy to find.

Download DVD Decrypter...google it...easy to find.

Search for the DVD Shrink Decrypter instructions...follow them.

Its simple and takes about 30-40 mins to copy a DVD. I did 3 last night and one is decrypting right now as I type this.

you need a dvd burning program to burn your movie to a blank new disc ,nero is a pretty nice tool for doing that,however , you need to pay few bucks

If u get dvd flick u can get any file format and burn it because it converts it then burns it to play on a dvd player
