If the file is an ISO you can burn it on cd or dvd.For cd burn VCD or SVCD in order to play on a regular DVD player if is an ISO for DVD the size is bigger starting with over 1 Gb and after burning is already done so you can play it on your dvd player to watch it on tv.If is just an avi file that’s a different story. So find on your burning software burn image.Iso file can not be converted, to watch it have to be burnt, only avi Xvid MPEG may be converted in a different format and standard. and so on.From ISO you can make just another type of image file or open it, extract the video file and convert it.
Hi, i recently downloaded a movie ISO file. I was wondering what I have to do to get that file to be able to play on my computer and how to be able to get that file on a DVD to be able to be played on a DVD player. Help would be much appreciated.
I don’t now where you got the file from but most of the time when you download something is in rar or zip form I mean compressed and after downloding Winrar extracts the file or files as a cue and bin or just avi.Bin is not far from Iso so you can burn it just look at the menu of your burning software for burning image. If the movie comes as an Iso and you don’t want to burn it use MagicIso and extract the avi file from it and watch it on any media player from this site.I use VideoLan Player and works ok but besides this install AC3 audio codec ar just All in One codecs. Here is a link : http://avicodec.duby.info/
Hi! I also just got a ISO movie dvd file. If I understand correctly I’d just have to burn it on a dvd and it would work on a dvd player. But when I try to put ISO to a burning compilation window(i use nero 18.104.22.168)it says that the file is larger than 2giga and therefor cannot be stored in an iso file system. It says that I should use a UDF file system to write such large files, but I don’t have this tipe of compilation.
If you use Nero 6.6 open Nero Start Smart and in the middle of interface is a switch for cd/dvd.2GB is too big for a cd but is ok for a 4.7 GB DVD.If you want to use Shrink is good for a bigger file than 4.7 GB so here is not the situation. If your file is iso extract it with Magic Iso get the avi from it and if you use the WinAvi the converter like most of them has included a splitter so you can make slices of 700 MB to fit the cd.Is just up to you and how you want to use your hardware. If your file is a vob is ready to put on dvd.
I’m having a big problem here. I have dvd decrypter Nero 6.3 and Roxio..i have a CD burnt. I extracted the file and made it a ISO using DVD shrink. I tried to burn using dvd decrypter and i keep getting a stinking error. now before i had a ISO and burnt it fine and it worked on my DVD. now i can’t get it to work. Do i have to extract everything again from the ISO and reburn it using Nero and wait 3 hours so it converts it and then burns? cuz i can’t seem to get it to work the way i used to by just burning the ISO. i get the same thing with Nero about that to big will only work in windows BS. this is driving me nuts. Don’t wanna wait 3 hours every time i make a copy.
What you guys are saying right now just isn’t enough info but it’s somewhere along my problem lines.
To break it down. How can i extract with dvd shrink convert to ISO then burn that ISO and make it work on DVD? cuz it won’t burn. just error
it tells me Invalid field in CDB...what’s that mean? how do i fix it?
Im now downloading an ISO,it is the first game pf the Grandia series,on psx.do i need to burn this to a cd to play and if i can play on my pc which programs do i need?thanks to anyone who can help me.
also i forgot to add:this ISO’s 855mb,which im downloading with a 56k connection,i also live about two hours from the nearest town, which seems to slow the connection speed to 46.5kbps and for me that means two days=61mb.WHEEE!(?)
Mayaguana just download bs player , with bs player you can play your movie and open subtitels but you have to download the subtitels on a website just enter subtitels in google and search for your movie
when you have the file for your movie just save it on to your pc and open it with bs player
There is no better utility than DVD-Shrink. You can open your ISO files, then compress it to one 4.7 DVD. Depending on your burner, you can burn it to DVD+R or DVD-R. This is your one stop shop. I have been backing up my DVD’s for almost a year now. Here is the link to download DVD-Shrink. http://files.dvdr-digest.com/encode/dvdshrink32setup.zip
DVD shrink is only for subtitles etc it doesn’t shrink the actual movie file though. How do you get the graphics to actually come out good i want almost DVD quailty yet it always seems to be to big for the dvd.
I recently recieved a DVD that was burned using a DVD ISo cd image file. The problem is that i can’t play it in a DVD player. My computer recognizes it as a DVD, but my DVD players won’t. What do i do to make it work?
P.S. Please email me with a reply, as i check my email most often.
