cant play dvd.rip files

Sometimes I save the download and look for another version of the same .torrent. You can often find a file on several sites or sometimes one site will have the same same .torrent under several names.

Last night I changed the tracker for a “Ranma 1/2” download and the DL time went from 25 days to one.
The only difference was that all the files from one were misspelled “Ranma A1/2”.
I removed the A from all, and changed torrents, and that was it.

IMPORTANT!!! When utilizing a .torrent client for obtaining media remember that most files have been compressed, zipped, or archived in some way or another. You’ll need a similar if not the same Archiving program (WinRaR) installed on your machine. You will not be able to do anything with many downloaded media files without it. Also, .torrent files (trackers) should only be a few thousand kilobytes (if that). .torrents are not big AT ALL

\\HASH your files after downloading. Sometimes your client inaccurately displays 100% completed but missed a file >>> critical for .SVF(see pg.3 post)//

[FILES]

.bin/.cue are images of a disc stored in a file.(SEE pg.3) The BIN file contains the data and the CUE file is like a shortcut to the data in the BIN file.
.rar is a file type associated ONLY with WinRaR

[PLAYERS/BURNING] see pg.3

*Honestly, VLC media player will play just about ANYthing. You can even play BIN/CUE file types... NO PROBLEM! NO codecs, special file converting or encoding needed. Truly beautiful*

**Should NEVER have to add a file extension to a downloaded file... ESPECIALLY a media file.**

***Try to stay away downloading “Bundles” of codecs and search bars. They bog down your computer and lots of 'em contain malware and spyware.

1. Azerus SUCKS!!! Get Bitcomet sir.
2. Dont SAVE your .torrent(tracker)... OPEN them when downloading.
3. If a file will not complete or is stuck at 99% it can be many things but commonly happens when the fils size is not the same as when you started downloading it. Delete/remove the file and the tracker and try again. If I can think of an alternative I’ll repost.

can anybody help me I download some shows from a bittorrent and I cant play them some are .dvdrip.abn and some are just .tvrip I tried that video lan vlc but it didnt work and wmp doesnt work either if anyone could help id appreciate it

I recently downloaded a .torrent file and used Bittorrent to download the seperate files from the torrent. Now the files are .avi file types and I can’t seem to play them. It usually says Format not supported or Cannot play back the file. The format is not supported. I’m really confused. Is there a player that might support my .avi files? Or a convertor that can change is to .mpeg files even? I’ve tried DivX but it won’t support it either. Please help!

Well i’m really new to this whole torrent thing. I downloaded a couple of video files with bitlord. one was 700mb and it downloaded without any problem. But now even though I can play the file can’t see anything. WMP says “error downloading codec”. the other file was just 58mb that I can hear the audio perfectly but no video. can anyone help me??

This is sorta like the post by Larid. So i am directing it to you. I downloaded some software and it came out as 2 folders each with tda-vs9a.024 This progresses through 55. At then end its the sfv file which i checked and everything is okay. So then what do i do after that to continue so i can make it a full ex. file or even an .iso so i can run the application? If anyone could help me that would be wonderful. Thanks!!

ok, i kind of get all that has been said time and again, but i have a xvid file ending with a .avi, its namely lost.in.translation.2003.dvdrip.xvid-alliance.avi
, i get only sound and no picture. then i went and downloaded the xvid application. and i got just hazy picture that did not move at all.

can someone plz just tell me wht to do step by step... i got the file that ends in .avi with sound and no video.

eg. 1. go to so and so site, then download such and such, put file here ..and run...
