Apparently a form of MJPEG but with some header or other missing. Software shipped with a number of low end digital cameras and webcams such as Aiptek’s Pocketcam digital still camera, Logitech’s ClickSmart and Mustek’s gSmart mini 2 use this format. These use SunPlus chipsets so presumably this explains the “SP”.
