what are the various (easiest and cheapest) ways to convert vhs tapes onto dvd?
tell me what i need to buy, have, the brief process of transferring vhs onto pc and from there to dvd format, including the right format it should be to play like a dvd.
Anyway you have to brake your piggy bank.Easy: buy a dvd recorder with vcr and dvd and a good hard drive size and be sure work separated I mean when one is recording something you may watch a movie. Here is around $350.Cheap: buy a video capture device and install it between the vcr and the pc, is converting vhs to digital.Cheapest around $70.00.Here you have a link to a Canadian store to see what I’m talking about. http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/category/category_tlc.asp?CatId=1423
Thanks very much, am following thru right now.
What about format. I mean, real dvd’s arent in .avi format. So when it’s all transferred, what program do I use to convert the format, what would the extension be? .what?
Thanks
