but the problem is that any file i want to convert it says unsupported file format
wat the shit is this

i’m having the same problem when using the transcoder for my kingston kpex100. how come it won’t take any of the supposed-to-be-input file types as acceptable source? do you know of any codecs that i should download to resolve the problem?

pls email me at simply_jennie@yahoo.com under the subject “KINGSTON TRANSCODER PROBLEM” for any info. thanks a lot! reply

Kingston MP4 Player is a suck!!! They are selling mp4, yet, no clear video converter.

unsupported format? I *had* the same problem as well, for an hour or so XD all you need to do is to download a codec pack so the transcoder can convert the videos from one format to another. I used CCCP or combined community codec pack. you can use other codec packs but that’s the one I used. once installed the transcoder accepted the files and converted them to the .mpx format. I own a kingston k-pex by the way and previously owned another mp4 so I’m slightly experienced at these things. the transcoder can be found at kingston’s site, as posted by the previous posters, but if you can’t find it you can go to this address: http://www.zombiesports.blogspot.com/ and you can find the transcoder at the homepage.

oh yeah, the codec only accepts avi, mpg, mpeg, or asf formats. if your video is in another format you need to convert it to the above formats so the transcoder will accept it. i’m not sure if wmv will work. reply
