What is the format you’re starting with?

Note: the quality of the starting format you have cannot be improved upon. EVERY conversion is a loss-process (one format to another).

If you think about it, it’s common-sense really. reply

Angus, could you please help. I know you stated question regarding beginning format. How do you know what format? I mean, I know it may be a mpg, but when I would try to burn vcd on NTI cd/dvd maker program it will give me an error message stating that the source and required source are different, therefore the playback may be effected. Well it is the picture on my tv is super small yet it plays okay on my computer. Could you please help. thx reply

You can export to another format then use a converter also using Nero to VCD helps a lot. It create VCD’s from many different formats. reply
