Kigo worked well, spent a lot of time trying to get ffmpegx via the elaborate steps required to no avail on snow leopard. Kigo was easy as pie and fast. reply

For windows computer, Hey anyone know anything about AVS conversion software? Looks and sounds to good to be true and i’m relatively new at this. God damn Real Video (RM, RMVB) files... They should be brought to stand trial! For mac os, I used RM Converter for Mac to convert rmvb file to avi file. reply

I think ffmpegX is great! Now, it’s not that Mac users are zombie users, lulled into a false security. However, the fact remains, I’ve been using Mac since 1984 and have never had a password. Nor have any of my Mac friends!

Until ffmpegX finds a workaround, I’ll have to continue to watch RVMB and ASF files on VLC and not be able to convert them to AVI to play on my DVD player.

While I’m ranting, why the ratf*ck do users create these oddballs, giving no end of trouble to the rest of us. Stick with AVI which works for everybody, please! reply
