... AND IF I ACCIDENTLY DOWNLOAD A FRENCH VERSION WITH HIGH QUALITY VIDEO AND AND ENGLISH VERSION WITH LOW QUALITY VIDEO, I COULD JUST USE ADOBE PREMIER TO SWAP OUT THE AUDIO FROM THE FRENCH VERSION WITH THE AUDIO FROM THE ENLISH VERSION AND VOILA, HIGH QUALITY VIDEO IN THE RIGHT FORMAT. reply

No offense to anyone, but I tried the extension of a ts file to wm, but media player refuses to play it, even after I say go try. It sends me to help page to buy Powerdvd and such. I wish. I would like to burn it to a dvd for guests to play at our summer rental dvd player. reply

Yes, you can view it after renaming, but there is no sound!

Does any one know how to convert a .ts file to other high definition video formats? reply

once I had video ts, something that was supposed to 4 gb. I don’t know much about all these files and what to do with them. I couldn’t burn it on dvd. Finally, I succeeded by changing it to play with vlc. It changed the icon and I was able to view and burn. My only concern is if I lost material doing so, cause I had only 20 episodes(!) for 4 gb(?) reply

Noland3, ur a retard. renaming a file doesnât make a difference at all. You need to convert the file itself."

Ah...its 3 years later, BUT always do your research before callin anyone a retard. Noland3’s advice is the only one that helped and worked!!!

its 3 years too late, BUT THANX. And i hope that people who search this topic can read his post, and mine that confirms the sketchy but working solution. reply

dragn... ur the mayor retard. I just did what Noland3 said and it worked like a charm.
It’s not unusual that firm give known files different extensions like .ts to force people to use their software. reply

"Retard” is an extremely offensive term to those who are or work with people with learning difficulties. You need to get an education and then you’ll be fit to join this century. reply
