how do i burn avi movies to dvd with nero 6 ultra edition

Also, Way cant I convert avi using the mini DVD option within Nero? It asks for ifo, vob and bup formats. Is this possible. Why cant it be straighforward.

What is the true dvd format when i can convert from various forms of coding you know which ones. that true dvds will play on pal playstations will work with win media player 9 will work with countless dvd players but converting these verious forms of coding have provided lafable results.example copied a series of avi’s shows with dvd santa in pal high quality not wide screen which will play sound/video on playstation will not recignise dvd in a divx capable dvd player wont play sound on win media player 9 but will play perfect with cyberlink power dvd player on cpu. wow who knows the true dvd coding and can it actualy be done for free.codecs i have them but shouldent need them if i can manufacture true dvd for my tv shows. any comments?

btw, DVD santa DOES NOT CREATE ANY MENUS OR USER CONFIG MENUS, absolute rubbish software if ever i saw one.

just like the real santa, dont believe in dvd santa.

Your gonna need a better comp then that, buddy. you also need a DVD+/-R drive unless you want to burn a vcd.

I have nero ultra 6 and i still cant burn an avi file with it. I tryed to convert it but when i do my pc freezes on me. Im using super dvd creater and vso divx to dvd to convert the file. Can anyone help me out.

Ok i dont mean to 'beat an old horse to death' but im also new and i want someone to email me with simple steps of everyting i need to download and how to make the dvd to play any a home dvd player. I hate to be the one to tell you, but a 233MHz/32Mb combination won’t allow you to run most of the necessary programs and those that will run will take days to complete.

here with me is a 3rd year pre med student and a girl who is in her last yeay in pharm school... neither knows that mcuh about computer. People have different knowledge in different fields, computers isn’t mine... all i wanna know in simple terms is the steps i take to burn to dvd r on one disk. I have winavi and nero. What file format do i change the avi too?

If you want to convert an avi file to a DVD then you will have to create some VOB files with your Winavi video converter. At the end burn all the VOB files (in the VIDEO_TS folder) in Nero burning rom.

ok I got into the vob files and burnt the dvd but it has winavidvdfileconveter plasted in aline across the screen... how do i get that to go away, thanx for the help this time.

That winavi converter of urs is a trail vers(shareware). Buy the software n the problm gone..no more watermark.

Hi There I downloaded Movie files from p2p program and of course they are .avi. WHat prgram is the best to convert to DVD format so I can play it in my home dvd player, and after converting what program s and steps do I have to do.. Hey one more thing I also downloaded another move which has 2 parts and their names end with DVDRip.SBC.AC3.5.1CH.Divx3.CD2, can u let me know how to Burn this to DVD R so I can watch it in my home dvd player? Thanks a bunch.

I’m playing avi on Philips DVP642 (region free, best in class) burned by Nero6. Computer - Cel 1.8, RAM512, XP.
Problem - when i try to burn multisession DVD-R with avi files (added after download) player can’t read next tracks (only first one). So i can’t play all avi, just burned first. But if i burning all avi files (5-6) in one session all works good. Any suggestion WTF is going on?

can anyt one tell me which is the best program to copy dvd protected movies like them movies from blockbuster, i do not want 2 know how 2 use it i think i can learn by myself i just want to know what do u people think is the best program out there to do the job cause i was using dvd cloner and it did a bad job

In Cucusoft AVI to VCD DVD MPEG Converter Pro, what does batch mean? What is it used for? I try to find some info on it, and I haven’t be lucky yet. Please let me know if anyone knows.

Does anyone know if there is software out, where you can remove words(subtitle) from a downloaded movie off the interent?
