I have copied a dvd to my hard drive using Decryptor and now I am trying 2 burn it. Im using Nero burning rom and have loaded all of the files saved on my hard drive into the VIDEO_TS folder like i am supposed to. The line at the bottom is red and is way over the limit. How can I cut audio tracks or extras out to make the file smaller so I can burn just the movie to the dvd? Please Help!!! reply

Use a program called DVD Shrink. It shrinks DVDs to fit onto your DVDR media.

Hi I have been using DVDShrink and Decryptor for years, through the upgrades and so on. Most of the time no problem, but this last time with Wall-E, WOW the whole file is showing up at a little over 59Gigs. Not kidding, 59! HolyCow. Normally you can deselect the languages you don’t need and so on and then when under the size limit either save to hard drive or burn. I think maybe their is a new kind of encryption designed to throw off these specific programs. I was over size on starwars clone wars and I chose to burn it anyway, and it fit the dvd anyway. MYSTERY. Ps. sorry for spelling and such. I know it is at the level of a 2nd grader. LOL reply

I use Ashampoo Movie Shrink And Burn. It will automatically shrink the movie to fit the blank disk, a nice feature is that it also shows the quality of the finished disk. Hope this is of some help to you. reply

In DVD shrink, you hit the 're-author' button at the top, then it shows you all the video files, chapters, etc. I believe the primary (read: necessary) audio and video are always checkmarked. You can then just remove the files you don’t want. Like extras, chapters, menus, additional languages, subtitles. Then DVD shrink even tells you how much the video file will be compressed so you know what sort of pic quality compromise you might have. You want that number as high as possible, obviously. reply

Do the normal process for burning a disc with dvd shrink and save to hard drive, then open the video_ts folder and analyze it even though it will say, there is no need to analyze reply
