Copying DVD to Computer

Hi Experts,
I copied 2 movies from TV onto a DVD. I transfer it to my computer and I got 2 files:
1) VIDEO_RM containing :
VIDEO_RM.BUP, VIDEO_RM.IFO and VIDEO_RM.DAT and
2) VIDEO_TS containing:
VTS_01_1.VOB, VIDEO_TS.BUP, VIDEO_TS.IFO,
VIDEO_TS.VOB, VTS_010.BUP, VTS_01_0.IFO
What did they mean? How can I turn them back into movies?
Guys, I don’t know a thing abt computer!

Thank you!

When you made the DVD the program made that funny-looking file and folder structure so that the DVD can play in standalone DVD players.
If I were going to take a guess, I’d say your movie is all in VTS_01_1.VOB. It’s in MPEG-2, but if you were able to burn it, you should be able to play it. Just open VTS_01_1.VOB with Windows Media Player or VLC or whatever you want. reply

Well , the Vob contain all the video data and audio data, the Ifo file controle when the video data and audio data should be play, the bup file is a copy of ifo file and to make sure the vob sitll can play when the ifo is damaged ! reply
