Hello pnkflyd, if you happen to come back to check this message, the following should help you. You should have a PC with Windows System. Copy the file to your desktop, then follow Anubis_9999fs instruction at 27 Feb 2006 02:27 pm. Here is what you should look out particularly. The file may not be in a zip folder. If this is the case, there is no need to unzip. Just look for gvorbisacm.infhfile and follow Anubis_9999fs instruction. Also, window may give a warning saying the installation is gillegitimateh. If so, just click something like"Continueh or gYesh anyways on the warning messages. This codec doesnft seem to do any harm to my system since my first installation. Good luck guys! And, please donft forget to spread this word to other forums and blogs as you have time. Many people may need this help! reply

I am sorry. I forgot to mention this-- when you go to http://svn.xiph.org/tags/vorbisacm_20020708 , you may see some links to some files. Just download and save these three: uninstall.inf, vorbis.acm, and vorbisacm.inf . Other files are just text files, it is up to your preference to save them. Put the uninstall.inf, vorbis.acm, and vorbisacm.inf onto desktop. Then, right click on vorbisacm.inf, in the context menu, select and click “Install”(window may give a warning saying the installation is gillegitimateh. If so, just click something like"Continueh or gYesh anyways on the warning messages. This codec doesnft seem to do any harm to my system since my first installation). This “vorbisacm.inf” file is a file containing instruction to install the “vorbis.acm” into the proper place. The “uninstall.inf” contains instruction to uninstall the “vorbis.acm” file. If you want to uninstall the installation, just right-click on “uninstall.inf”. Next, select and click on “Install”. This should UNinstall your previous installation of “vorbis.acm”. You might want to zip these three files or put them in a folder and store them for future uses after you finish installation. reply
