XViD-HLS CODEC?

I have just received a file which has the above tag on the end. When I open this up in Quicktime Pro I get the video but no Sound Track? The only player I can hear the sound in is Video Lan (VLC). Is there any Codecs out there for this XVID-HLS format?

Download the DivX Player Lite 1.2.1 from download.com and let it then download the proper codecs after install. It will play xvid-hls videos with sound.

There is no such thing as XviD-HLS codec or videos. The codec is XviD and you can download it from www.koepi.org. HLS is a name of some release group, not codec or video.

Don’t download divx player light as it won’t support all features of xvid and divx may conflict with it too.

How about VLC media player, is that something that could work with this type of file format?
