Hi,

I’ve been using Premiere 6.0 for a good while working with mepeg and wmv clips, but I need to get a comercailized project done with some new clips.

The problem is that the video compression on these clips is Xvid. I can import these clips into premiere but the porblem, is when i put these clips into the timeline, the clips are “there” but in the monitor window nothing is shown (black screen).

So my question if not slow enoughf is, how do i fix this problem?

You can reply on the forum or just send the answer to e-mail. thanks

What version of XviD are you using? Or are you using an alternate decoder (DivX, ffmpeg, or something embedded with a codec pack). I’d recommend getting the latest version of the xvid binaries at http://www.koepi.org/xvid.shtml

Sorry for the late reply. I don’t guarantee results, but as I stated before, I’d give the xvid binaries a shot first.
