wmv1 codec

Hello!
Does anybody have an idea about wmv1 codec. my windows media player 9 wont play right and it says it needed thos wmv1 codec. Where can i download this?

-106 MB (112,065,037 bytes)
-Type of Clips: Video Clip and i think its a wmv file

That doesn’t say much. How would you know if the fourcc is wmv1? Feed the file into avicodec (http://avicodec.duby.info) and tell us what the file type and fourcc is.

sorry i have the same problem but after downloading the codecs pack, my problem doesnt seem to be solved. it still indicates that i need WMV1 codec.. can anyone help?
