Hi, i’ve been wanting to make a vid on WMM out of gif files, but it won’t work.
this pops up::
The file C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\My Documents\My Pictures\Paramore gifs\th_hayleyheadbang.gif is not a supported file type, and it cannot be imported into Windows Movie Maker.

also, i’ve been trying to import music to WMM from my itunes, but this pops up::

The file C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Music\Paramore\The Final Riot! [Live]\13 Emergency [Live].m4a is not a supported file type, and it cannot be imported into Windows Movie Maker.

any help??? please

As far as I know, Windows Movie Maker doesn’t accept animated gif files as input.
There is a workaround, and that is to capture the animated gif into a video file then import that into movie maker.
You can try camstudio (freeware)
http://sourceforge.net/projects/camstudio/
Be sure to pick a lossless codec, or at least set the settings to high quality to minimize loss of details during capture.
