i wanted to import a .avi file in windows movie maker, it didn’t work, i installed the required codec, now it works.
The file I imported is now in “collections” but it is separated in 20 little files????
Is it always like this? If not, what can I do about it?
Is it possible that this happens because its a movie made with my cellphone?

When you open your source file, uncheck the box “Create clips for video files”.
My guess is that it detects scene changes and makes cuts accordingly.
Fairly annoying that Microsoft enables it by default.

when try to import video,with vob.ext. it does ot work.and i get msg...vob is not supported file type.how can i import vob file in movie maker for editing?pl.help.
