Help me out with this one..I’ve been trying to play a avi movie file with “ts-esoteric” but can’t succeed. 
You need to add the ipswitch on the left side of the 4y g-rate.
any idea how can I add ipswitch with 4y g-rate?? ?:(

Drop your AVI into it and post what it says.
In the meantime, you could just play your AVI using VideoLAN (www.videolan.org).

i have dropped my file into the codec finder, and this is what it says(windows media player will not play it):

Also look at the file size - 7.66 MB. That’s too small.
You downloaded some broken download from someone (he had that from irc or dc++ probably) and you only have the first 7MB of the 700MB :)
TS is TeleSync btw (which is not a codec) and Esoteric is a group of movie rippers or smth.

i downloaded some file with this too, but instead of 7mb, the files were 374, and 475 mb, is this trash too?
If downloaded from kazaa and such networks there are a huge amount of fake movie and mp3 files there. To test them before you download check if the download speeds are unsually fast. Eg. on a 56k connection it’s impossible to get speeds over 5.6kbps but those fake ones (dummy Text files) reach speeds of 10kbps or more. Also use AVI preview to confirm that u are downloading the correct content!!!! There are some wankers out there beware!!!!
i downloaded the vlc media player but it’s not playing verry well it’s skipping parts:o
telesync is a term referring to sitting in a movie theater recording it with your camcorder. The file may be crap, but “telesync” is real. Though you are right, it is not a codec.
