I recently downloaded a few video files, one is in MPG format and the other in MPEG. When I open these files in my media player, I only see and hear a clip of the actual video. If I start the player somewhere in the middle of the files, I can see other footage there but the file will not play all the way through. Only in segments??? Ive tried to cut and edit the scenes together with Vegas Video, but that is more trouble than what its worth. Is there a conversion I need to do on these files to get them to play their entire contents? Please Help. Thank you.

There is nothing strange about MPEG 4mat.(MPEG stands for Moving Picture Experts Group) If ur MPEG file comes in centipede form...then it is not a MPEG rather than a RAR 4mat. Then U will have 2 combine all the small fragments n make it in2 1 whole file. If it isn’t what I think it is..then my mistake. Wrong guessing.

Thank You, I know what MPEG stands for. They dont normally play how I described either. Im looking for a conversion method, or an answer on how to play all of the information in the MPEG at once instead of one minute segments and then stopping.
