SEDG codecs

got sent some videos by a friend who obviously used a samsung camera because they are SEDG and i cant figure out how to play them!!

he did send me a codec, on the dvd to use but im not sure how to install it into windows media player?

is there anything else that can i could download that plays SEDG files or anyone know how to install codecs into Windows media player cos this has got me stumped!
