Samsung DVD H40 codec

I have a Samsung DVD h40 (a DVD player and hard disk combination. I have the need to copy information from the Hdd to the computer.

The computer does not recognise the format (codec) of the hard disk drive, although I can see the files it contains.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

How did you copy files from your player ???
Are you just open it and connect the hard drive to your computer ?

another question:

have you find a way to copy protected dvd to the hard drive ?

i found a code to free region but it doesn’t seem to work, have you one working ?

i’m trying to replace the hard drive of the smsung dvd-h40e.
Any suggestions? Can I copy the content of the hard drive to another hard drive? Can I add a bigger driver?

I too have a DVD-H40E - mine has corrupted the Hard Disk. This is readable in Windows, but nothing else. Anyone know how to renew this to the HD? Peter
