Oficial reply from Winavi is that you need to install a real media codec/player, and they send you to www.real.com

RM files are supposed to be played by Windos Media Player in order to Winavi to be able to convert them. Question is how you do this?

hi i found the same message when i installed win avi but i found this site, http://www.free-codecs.com/Real_Alternative_download.htm and it solved the message coming up

i’m trying to convert around a 200mb avi to vcd
but it doesn’t work? i also get the message about the realmedia 9 codec whatever...
I’ll try whats above...any other suggestions?

when i try to download this page it only appear letters...

i recently downloaded winavi. most of my films are divx-avi and i wanted to convert them to dvd. the originals play perfect but after i convert they all really bad pictures with black blocks all over the screen. why is this?

I extracted the rmdll file to winavi folder and still get the same message
