Real alternative has worked for a long time for playing .rm or .rmvb files, until someone installed real player on this computer. Then i had video, but no sound. uninstalled realplayer sp, then i couldnt play the file at all. reinstalling real alternative has not helped, reinstalled realplayer sp, and again i had video but no sound. i’m not sure where to go from here.
I’ve found VLC works, but other media players do not, because VLC has the ability to play .rm files built in? whereas others need additional codecs. dunno. so not a big deal, but this is still really bugging me that i cant use other media players to play .rm files.
