I have the same problem.
so，
1、change MOV to AVI.
2、then use the winavi.

Try uninstalling Quicktime and it’s components..

Then install quicktime Alternative Lite (QT Lite) by first downloading it from here.

Answer is on winavi website....

Q.

A.
19.Why every time when I run on the program, I get a pop up message telling me that I need Realmedia codec version 9/Quicktime codec 6.5 or high?

It is because you may have not installed RealMedia Alternative/Quicktime Alternative.o If so, please just download and install these codecs, and after that, this message will not pop up again. You can get these codecs from followings:
RealMedia Alternative: http://www.winavi.com/download/realalt143.exe
Quicktime Alternative: http://www3.winavi.com/download/quicktimealt147.exe
Btw, if you will not do any conversion concerning rm/rmvb/mov formats, please just select the option “Do not show this dialog next time” at the bottom of this message box to ignore it.

I to tied this avenue with no success - I found a onverter that sems to be much better although it is slower and uses a high volume of your CPU.
I usually do my coversions over night

the site is DVDVideoSoft.com

good luck
