Problem with text/information appearing over videos

Hey all, my friend just started getting this weird problem with her videos, it looks like audio track information or something. I cant get to her computer so I was hoping someone here might know whats goin on you can see a screenshot of the problem here: http://img515.imageshack.us/img515/1915/screenshot4qs.jpg

Basically its green text over the video thats says Audio Track, Input description, output description, number of channels, etc.

It happens with any video and any media player, wmp, realplayer, etc.

I get the same problem with my Windows 2000 system. Videos that work fine in my XP machines, play with this text and audio histogram stuff superimposed.... did you get any joy?

Sorted the problem. I had the visualisation setting set in fddshow. Unset and all is fine.
