Problem in playing avi video files

Hi everyone,
I’ve recently downloaded some video files of .avi extension. For the first time they were all playing nicely. After some days, when I play them the audio is heard, but video is not seen and the screen becomes blank. Moreover, I can’t access my system and I’ve to restart it.
Can you tell what is the problem exactly....?

I suggest you use avi to dvd burner to burn your avi video files to dvd, then you can play your dvd on dvd player

1. Copy DVD to ISO Image,DVD Disc,DVD Folder,Player Media(directly play on Apple DVD Player) on Mac

2. Burn AVI,FLV,MOV,MOD,MKV,M4V,MPEG,VOB,3GP,HD,TS...to DVD on Mac
