Playing video files on its side! Can it be done? Sony Ericsson V800

If you have a picture which is displayed in portrait you can rotate it counter clockwise within Windows Picture and Fax Viewer (XP) then when you view the picture on your phone it fills the whole screen. It means that you have to turn the phone on its side but it makes the picture look so much better.

Anyone know if this can be done with a video file! and what software can do this?

I have a PDA with media player installed, do you knw how I can watch my fils on the PDA, I have shrink DVD and can get the file onto an SD card but it does not recognise the file in media player, any thoughts?
