Ive downloaded LOST, 'avi' setting, in properties it says its a “Windows Video”..ive got two files, one works, one dosent...

“Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."

Thats the error message i get...Does anyone know of a player i can download which will play this file? That dosent have 1000000 virus’s on!

If you get a message...“file type not supported” ...i’ve found spider player to play most files that windows media may not identify or recognize...plus with the free edition..it has a converter...a good little player..
