picture moves too fast after installing SLD codec pack

well..its kinda strange problem..
i installed windows 98 and i installed SLDcodecpack1.5.3
the picture in all the movies and clips moves in a strange way..
its wroking but the picture moves fast..
just a few .avi files that works normaly..
please help..

Why did u instll that SLDcodecpack? Anyways.
It is a codec problem , yes.

IT is like playing a xvid and using a divx codec namely divx 5.x.x The picture moves and but correctly and the sound carries on....

I know what u mean, u need to find out what those AVI files are how they were made and what are they....thats the dam problem alot of us have these days...

You know what, download a program called Gspot, it tells you details about a file.... trust me.

ok am downloading it right now..
but remember am goin to check the .avi and they work correctly..
or should i check the not working files...
anyway,the picture moves like 1 sec normal and the other sec fast..
