.ogm video file green screen

OS: win 98
DirectX ver.: 8.1
Ogg Vorbis filter version: 0.9.9.5


When I try to a play a .OGM file, I get the sound working, but the screen is just a solid green screen. Please help.

Which version of XviD and/or DivX do you have installed? Is FFDShow installed?

divx ver.: 5.0

xvid ver.: XviD-1.0-RC3-29022004 (I guess this is the version, not sure, but its was all that i cold find on it)

I dont have FFDShow.

I downloaded and installed FFDShow. No luck still.

download video lan client, works for me WITHOUT me installing any buggy codec packs etc...
