I have a Pentax camera that can take video. I play these no problem on my home WinXP machine. Unfortunately my W2K machine at work does not have an appropriate codec installed. I use GSpot to check the required codec and it told me I need an MJPEG codec.

I only want to be able to view these vids not edit them or anything. Anyone recommend a free download for this?

Thanks.

Motion jpeg - want it free get directX 8 or later from microsoft or play it in the quicktime player. if you need better performance/quality or you need to produce mjpeg material try it from one of the big 3 of mjpeg: morgan multimedia, pegasus, and mainconcept.

I have purchased a number of digital picture frames. They use AVI Motion jpeg to display avi video. I wish to display my students animations on these picture frames. What is the codec that I need to make the conversions. I cannot seem to find a codec that is named AVI Motion JPEG. Thanks.

Animatedly yours
Dave
