Hello,

Sorry if this question is a little noobish or if it’s not in the appropriate forum. I have a file that’s specified as .mpeg. However, none of my media players work (VCL, GOM, WMP). When I try to play it using GOM, I receive the following information:

Stream 0

I’ve been searching for a while now for a solution, but I’m still lost. Is this file a type of dvd format? Do I need to convert it to something else, or just get the right codec? Any help would be much appreciated.

By the way, I have WMP 11 and the latest versions of the other media players. I’m using XP.

From gspot:

File Type: Unknown
Mime Type: Unknown

Any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance.
