I have purchased a PVR which saves recorded programs in with a file extension of MTS.

Does anyone know how to view these files other than on the PVR or how to translate these file to another format to enable sharing with others

Thanks reply

Try rename files extension to .mpg, .mpeg, or .ts
It may be Mpeg Transport Stream. reply

Install K-Lite Codec Pack & CoreAVC then play with Media Player Classic or Sony Vegas 7 (or above). CS4 is now compatible too reply
