Mpeg Codec file Missing

I am not able to record programs from my TV tuner. Everytime I press the Record button an error appears saying " Mpeg Codec files lost. Please reinstall application”. Kindly could I Know how i could reinstall the program.

i am thinking you are trying to record the programs in mpeg2 format in that case search google for elecard mpeg2 codec
