how th hell do i get a codec for this, iam tryin to play a movie(300.dvdscr.x264-jb.mp4) and ive tryed quiktime, wmp11, bsplayer, powerdvd and i just cant get it to work, can i get help!!!?? 
try install k-lite codec pack the latest,before that uninstall all your codec first or just install vlc player without need to install any codec
That file uses the H.264 video format.
You can play it with K-Lite Codec Pack.

Use GOM player. It’s better than vlc. U can download it at www.download.com

i have vlc and tried to run movie using windows media player,but still said that i needed codec (sound played fine though)

Windows7 - codec pack plays absolutely everything and plays it on your Windows Media Player!
