I can import an .mov file to WMM when I add it to the timeline it only shows as a black screen on the monitor.
Is it possible to use .mov files in WMM?

Bill i’m sorry 2 say but u can’t use .mov files in WMM cause it dosent support that codec. You should first convert it to an AVI file or MPEG & WMV files.

MOV was devloped by Apple, Windows Movie Maker don’t support this format file. i Think you have to convert it to WMV or AVI.
You can use iSharesoft MOV Converter to do this job. this program can convert mov file to many format, here is the link
