Motion Mjpeg streaming video

I have a file that is Mjpg format when I viewed it with gspot, now when I play it all I see is a screen with colours on it but no movie, do I need a decoder to view the movie or do I need a certain codec and if so where can I get one for Motion Mpeg streaming video? It says it is IBM with huffman tables? Any help greatly appreciated
