icm.xvid error in realplayer

thanks so much larian, all the other links werent take me anywhere but your post is like 2 yrs old anyways, and it still worked! ty! it took me forever to find out what i needed and i was starting to think it was going to take me forever to find it to download! thankyou! i finally got my programs to work! its been frustrating me for over a year and i couldnt believe so many ppl just uploaded stuff that didnt work so i set in to find out why they werent working. thnx for finally getting me to solve my problem!

did anyone ever solve the problem of the video coming up but there being no sound?

Thank you, now I can watch one of my movies. I still can’t watch the other movie, this one brings a “general error” and not a icm.xvid error, but it is still AVI and XVID, what can I do?

if you go to :

and download that program it will tell you which codecs you need to play the file.
It is a bit complicated but you should be able to work it out. Then go to:
http://www.divxmovies.com/faq/#4.4
to get the correct codecs.

um, ive download so many Xvids, from koepi.org. which one am i suppose to use??

also i get a error when installing any Xvid, it says a file called xvid.ax is not here or something or that it cant write.

i tried that GSpot program, but it says i already have xvid.

i was wondering maybe the realplayer doesnt read it??

my real player gives an error everytime i try to play certain movie files, and it says that there is no update from realplayer.com that supports that content type.

i have the same problem i downloaded a couple of episodes and alot work normally but i have some that wroks but there is no sound .. how can solve this problem ?? anyone knows?

hi i hope u r all fine. Actually i am running .avi formate of the real player. the problem is that sound come but no picture and errot is ICM.xvid formate is not supported. whats the sloution i download the mentioned codace but no sucess. Any solution ???????????
