how to convert AVI to DVD

I’ve been trying to convert my AVI files to DVD, and i just can’t find the right program, winavi did’nt work, cause it puts a message in themiddle of th screen promoting the program....so..can someone tell which program to download?
I just wanna watch my videos in my house dvd...:0( reply

well nero 7 or any nero version will take care of your problem. i dont know if you can find it for free. if you download nero then click on (make your own dvd video) and then click on add video file and then just follow the procedure in nero it is so simple and so reliable but takes 2 to 3 hrs. reply

The WinAvi you have is a demo and like any demo has a limit for file size and is watermarking your converted file. You need a retail and for this you have to put some money down. If you’re broke and your budget is small you may use Google to find some freeware video converters. Here is a site to check for www.softarchive.net When you start any convertion be sure to set the right video system for your country or check your standalone dvd player for whatever system is working.A very fast video converter is VSO ConvertX to DVD but this is a retail try their free converter DivX to DVD. Anyway I gave you some points to start from. Good Luck. reply
