DO i need to burn it with CD-R OR DVD-R?. im using NTI CD & DVD BURNER VERSION 6 GOLD. i tried burning VCD...wouldnt work, and SVCD...still wouldn’t can somebody help? I just downloaded the Video converter

Obviously not! VCD’s are MPEG-1 and SVCD’s are MPEG-2! avi is a totally different container. You have to either convert your avi to one of the MPEG formats, or simply burn a data cd (like a cd-rom with regular files and folders) with your avi.

download nero 5.5 and change the file to vcd, mine worked then
