Hi,
I have an avi file that does not play on my windows media player. I can hear the audio — but i don’t get the video. It tells me I am missing the codec h264. I tried installing it from the files liked on here — but I still can’t get it to work. HELP!
Thank you

@ Mavrikio - simply install FFDShow and when it asks you to select the video options during install MAKE SURE you tick the one for h264 as it is NOT ticked by default.
All the rest is no use to you except you might prefer to use VideoLanClient as this is simply the best media player available in the world (afaikac) and will play h264 fine

Thanks Willijay.
http://www.newfreedownloads.com/download-Codec-Pack-(Advanced).html really works!
