HELP!
I need to watch a DVDRip X264 avi file. I tried Window Media Player but it showed “error downloading codec”. I tried DivX Player and it showed error message ".....FOURCC H264”. I even tried Storm Codec 5 but still not working. Audio is alright but no video at all. Can somebody help me please? Thanks

i downloaded the codec from http://www.free-codecs.com/x264_Video_Codec_download.htm but it still won’t work

that site free codecs is so awful, the dl doesnt work, and now it wants me to download some .net framework thingie, does anyone have anything that actually works???

I have this problem.

I’ve just installed the x264 codec, along with AviSynth and some DG Decorder.

I’ve followed this guide: http://gabe.5000megs.com/guide/DeathTheSheep_x264_VfW_guide.html,
but when I’m trying to render my movie it says:

“An error occured while creating the media file <filename.avi>
The selected codec does not support the current render settings."

Does anyone know what my problem could be, and eventually how to fix it? thanx alot
