DX50 and DIV3 Codecs

I use DivX would these types of codes work on it? I also have : QuickTime Player, Real Player , Kazza (also is there a file that lets u watch theses coded ones on Kazaa Theater, & that’s it.

heyyy.... im having similar problems with this codec, however im trying to run a ripped DVD of documentaries through Quicktime, anyone got any advise. I also happen to be a mac user, so im not quite sure if Codecs are universal for macs and pcs. please PLEASE someone help me, I really need this for my work! thanks!

Just downloaded the file above and the movie The good the bad and the ugly which only had sound now has video as well. Yee ha.

Hello everybody
I would like to give you an alternate player for you guys to watch your movies - works for music as well
Try vlc - THE ultimate player - don’t need to install any codecs after that
There are versions for almost any OS as well
At least give it a try - it’s the ONLY player I use nowadays

Hi I’m downloading movies on the net and their avi files and they wont play cuz they dont have a specific codec...so wat codec do i download..i downloaded ffdshow..and what do u do with it? Someone please help me with this!!!!

Hi all i dont know if im in the right forum or whatever but i downloaded a couple of moviees from limewire and when i try to play them it says the codecs thing was not found. The format for the movies are mpg. and avi. what can I do?

Copy the divxplay.exe file from this below mentioned site and play ur movie.

I used Gspot to open a video file, and it showed me that I need a vidoe codec 4CC DX50, can you help me please

i have windows media player and when i try to watch on a movie i only heare the sound and it says “cannot connect to codec server” and The required codec cannot be found

I downloaded FFDShow, but it is still not working, and its in windows media player. the file is mpeg, i don’t know what that means, but i think it has something to do with why its not working. How do i change it to DIV3???

hey, I used to watch all my films with no trouble, now all i get is that i need tag 85 and divx/xvid codec fourcc. What is this. ive tryed everything but nothing works. HHHEEELLLPPP!!!
