Alright, 2 part question...I got acouple dual audio mkv files. First, when I play the files, it plays both languages at the same time, so how do I switch between them? The other part is, when I want to burn them to dvd, I use virtualdubmod, but I always get this wierd message when I upload them,
“An out-of-bounds memory access (access violation) occurred in module 'ntdll'."
And the program crashes. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. XD
I had the dual audio problem as well. The only way I found to fix it was to download Media Player Classic. When you play it there should be a green arrow icon that shows up, using that you can choose the language. You can get the player from:
www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_players/media_player_classic.cfm
Hope this helps.
thank you, you win the internet for that, jess
Thanks for that tip on MediaPlayer Classic.
Was having the same issue. CCCP can get ornery every now and than.
I have already been trying to play dual files in the classic player i dont see the green arrow???? wat to do???
the green arrow will appear when you play the file...
green arrow is shown on bottom right corner...
you can also click the text “play” and chose audio you want to play in.
if you right click on the video while its playing you’ll get the audio options

I have a similar problem: when I play my dual audio mkv file using media player classic, there’s no sound and i cannot choose the audio (no green arrow or audio options...)
what should I do? could it possibly be a codec problem? (I’ve got the latest version of FFDshow)
thank you in advance ^^
(sorry for my English, but I’m Italian XD)
I guess all you need is just properly updating your codec pack. maybe for some reason your prior installation process interrupted. BTW the little green arrow appears on the taskbar of your desktop.
1. play the video (in normal mode not full screen mode),
2. during that time look at the task bar on your desktop near the clock, and you will find it.
3. then right click on it to do appropriate adjustments for your preferences
it can also be seen on the recent windows media player 11 too
