converting div4 to div3 low motion

ok its me again.

I want to know the exact steps to convert div4 to div3 low motion in virtual dub.I don’t know anything abt virtual dub so please be a little detailed abt the steps.

I have a celeron 400 mhz 128 mb ram computer so quite slow one.

If you don’t already have the divx 3.11 codec, grab it here http://www.divx-digest.com/software/divxcodec.html

Open your file in VirtualDub. Click video, compression. Look for “DivX ;-) MPEG-4 Low-Motion”. That’s the div3 codec. Click on it. Click on configure and set the advanced options to your liking (you may do more than one encode to see what quality settings work best for your video). Once you’re done click file, save as avi, give it a different name, and you’re done.
