Colour messed up on MPG and AVI in WMP

Anytime I open a streaming web video the colour looks all messed up. It’s the same in WMP for mpg or avi. The other thing is that Media player classic plays everything fine. I kave Kazaa codec pack installed. I have tried Ace codec packed didnt work,
Any idea’s
