codec needed?

I have downloaded a hindi movie “Krishna Cottage Hindi Xvid BrG ShareConnector [DVD] [found via www.FileDonkey.com].avi” from EDonkey. The video jerks when I try to watch it but the audio is fine. Is there a codec missing and if so, which one?
